Newly restored Ghent Altarpiece reveals humanoid 'mystic lamb'

The 15th century Ghent Altarpiece is on show in Ghent following major restoration work. Centuries of alterations have been peeled back to reveal a near original masterpiece: and a lamb with a disarmingly human gaze.
