Author Doğan Akhanlı receives Goethe Medal

Together with Iranian artist Shirin Neshat and the Mongolian publisher Enkhbat Roozon, the German-Turkish author has been honored by the Goethe-Institut. Akhanlı talked with DW about his writing — and state persecution.
