After 13-year-old Theo's mother is killed in a bombing at New York's Metropolitan Museum, his life is thrown dramatically off kilter, and the choices he makes in the aftermath set off a chain of events that will follow him through his teenage years and into adulthood. Directed by John Crowley, The Goldfinch is based Donna Tartt's Pulitzer prize-winning novel from 2013, and stars Ansel Elgort, Nicole Kidman, Sarah Paulson, Luke Wilson and Jeffrey Wright
